This is a contract year and your System Council is working hard to get a package together we can all be proud of. This week, delegates from each of the locals are meeting to discuss the upcoming round of contract talks.
Tentatively we are set to start negotiations in September. I am hopeful that the talks will be productive and we can iron out some issues that have been looming about.
I will be using this blog as one form of communications during negotiations. It has been in our best interest to keep all of the members as up to date as possible and this is the quickest avenue to get the info out.
