Brothers and Sisters,
The Contract offered by the Company was overwhelmingly rejected by the membership today.
I want to thank all of you for such a good turnout. I am proud of all of you for standing up and leaving no doubt about where you stand on the company's offer. Additionally, I want to thank all of our Brothers and Sisters around the system (LU's 433, 626, 682 and 1491)for their turnout. Great Job!!
I also want to thank Brothers David Edenfield, Mark McGuffee, David Koczan, Gary Dotten and Darrell Reeves for helping out today. I know it was a long day but you all did a great job.
The final results for the vote was 982 "no" votes and 186 "yes" votes.
I will be updating everyone on the next steps as soon as that information becomes available.
